The Secrets on Forest Bend by Susan Muller

Image
I'm thrilled to have Susan Muller on my blog this week. I love paranormal books and since this one had a ghost in it I was immediately interested it. Welcome Susan!! Teresa, thanks for inviting me to visit your blog and talk about my book. The Secrets on Forest Bend.    -->  The Secrets on Forest Bend Tell us what inspired your story. The story started with a small idea. What would happen if you traced the life of a gun? What misery had it caused in the past, what pain would it cause in the future? How had it influenced the lives of those it touched? Describe your hero and tell us a little about him. My hero, Adam Campbell, is a cop. He’s been a bad judge of women in the past and wonders why sexy and crazy always seem to come in the same package. He vows to be more careful in the future. He’ll run at the first sign of Datezilla. Describe your heroine and tell us a little about her. Jillian owns a gun store and firing range. People...

Salt of the Earth by Jesse V. Coffey

Image
I recently read a story Titled Salt of the Earth by Jesse V. Coffey. It was a novella of about 31,000 words. It was different from the romance and romantic suspense stories that I usually read. But I was drawn right into this story of quirky unusual characters all living in a cemetery.  The main character Rip learns that though he can't correct the mistakes he made while alive, he can become a better person even in death. I loved the story. Loved the dialect with which the characters spoke. I could practically hear the accents.  I enjoyed the story so much I just had to share the information about it with you.  SALT OF THE EARTH Cover blurb: Nothing like being the "new kid on the slab," as Rip Porter quickly finds out when a robbery goes wrong. Thanks to four shots from a policeman's gun, he wakes up in the The Final Glory Cemetery, home to an assortment of ghosts, ghouls, and poltergeists. No sooner is Rip ...

Erotic Stories: Tasteful and Sweet

Image
I read everything! I'm not exaggerating.  From the driest tome on Art History to BDSM. I love the written word. But there are some authors who stand out in certain genres. I recently found one who has put a different twist on her erotic stories. Her name is Dara Ames.  Here's her bio.  Dara Ames is a wife, mother, and avid reader who reads widely across several genres, including romance, mystery, true crime, and sensual erotica. A small-town, southern girl, she has a soft spot for sweet tea, dark chocolate, and warm summer evenings with her husband. Dara's niche is romantic erotic encounters between husbands and wives. Her goal is to offer readers the same exciting, sensual stories of traditional erotica, with the added twist of characters who are married. For those readers who enjoy the softer side of erotica, in Dara's writing you will find no multiple partners or sex between unmarried characters. What you will find is the same pulse-pounding sensuality ...

RELEASE DAY FOR NOBODY'S PERFECT!!!

Image
I THOUGHT I'D SPREAD THE WORD  NOBODY'S PERFECT IS LIVE!!!! NOBODY'S PERFECT I'm an eclectic reader. I'll read any kind of fiction, non-fiction, history, biographies, you name it. But my first love is romance,  military romance, historical romance, contemporary romance, paranormal romance, erotic romance and romantic suspense. Actually any kind of romance. The more conflict in a story, the more I love it. And Kallypso Masters can pour on the conflict. And I love it.  Her books are also BDSM erotica. I don't read erotica a lot. But I have a few favorites in the genre, Cheryl Norman, Jennifer Madden, Mia Jae, and recently I've added Kallypso (Kally) Masters to my list. Hers are my first sojourn into BDSM and they are totally different than I expected. I really love her heroes (OH MY) and her story lines.  Her female characters are fighting through things just as ferociously as her heroes and really fit well with the men.  And the se...

The Characters of BREAKING THROUGH (Book 2 of the SEAL Team Heartbreakers)

Image
This past week I participated in a release party on  Kalypso Masters' blog for her new release Nobody's Perfect. I thought I'd post my blog on my site this morning in case you didn't get a chance to read the excepts from my new book BREAKING THROUGH (Book 2 of the SEAL Team Heartbreakers)  To tell you a little about the book. BREAKING THROUGH has four story lines going at the same time. Three romances and a suspense plot.  It was released September 6, 2012. And I thought I’d give readers a taste of each story line explored in the book. Read on and find out about each of the characters in my new book. Ensign Brett “Cutter” Weaver has just awakened from a month long coma to find he’s being investigated for the murder of a young Iraqi boy. NCIS approaches him about the protection detail. But he has no memory of his last days in Iraq and his SEAL team buddy Derrick Armstrong isn’t talking. And worse, the men in the two cover vehicl...
