  Writing Timeless my Cross Genre-Paranormal- Science Fiction book Timeless I’m quickly learning that writing things out of the norm makes it difficult to sell books. My book Timeless sold 442 copies in the month of October.   And I’m proud of that. It’s a book that took me three years and a trip to Scotland to write. And I think it’s one of the best things I’ve ever written. But it hasn’t sold as well as my Navy SEAL romances. I know that military romance is BIG. And I love my Navy SEALs. They’re all alpha, macho, tough hot, and OMG handsome ---well you get the gist.   But Quinn Douglas is all those things and then some. He works in a specialized, very dangerous field of deep salvage diving. He plays the flute in his off weeks, because when you are saturated to a specific depth you usually work up to a month living inside the pot and going down as deep as you’re saturated. Uploading a book to Amazon, or any publishing site, is a nerve racking experience. It doesn't matter if you have a wonderful, clean, well-edited document to upload. Just waiting for the process to finish, and agonizing over the possibilities of something going wrong, is enough to cause you to bite your fingernails down to the quick, grind your teeth down to the gum line, and sprout gray hair in a matter of moments. But maybe it's just me. The book I was reuploading is Timeless. I've added a Table of Contents and an epilogue. Dwarfed by the dam’s looming height, she struggled to suppress her cloying claustrophobia. She swung her dive light back and forth searching for any sign of Henry. The ground gave way to a long downward slope. She drifted, following the deep ruts cut into the bank. At the sudden inexplicable increase in the water temperature, she hesitated. It didn’t feel like a natural current, but warmer, like a hot spring. Had the seal along the wrists and ankles of her dry suit broken, she would be experiencing the chill of the water, not a surge of warmth. For a moment, the circle of illumination her dive light provided seemed to expand as some of the sediment cleared. Worry brought a hollow emptiness to the pit of her stomach. Where was Henry? January 13, 2012 my novel Timeless will be available on Amazon and at Barnes and Noble in e-book format.  I just wanted to share this with everyone.  This book has been a three year journey but it was worth it.
