CAUGHT IN THE ACT (A HUMOROUS SHORT STORY)

Image
CAUGHT IN THE ACT I have a NEW RELEASE  coming out in the next few days and I just wanted to spread the word. The title of the story is CAUGHT IN THE ACT. It's a Humorous Short Story about—well—here's the blurb. --> Liz is determined to carve out some alone time to spend with her husband Jimmy. But fate and the kids seem destined to interfere. And worse, her attempts to find a happy balance between responsibility and romance may prove more a comedy of errors than the night, well—fifteen minutes—of hot sex she’s hoping for. Or will it? Caught In The Act is a short-short story of 3300 words but it’s well worth the laughs. I think every parent will identify with this couple. Hope you'll check it out. Teresa

Amy Durham's New YA Release DUSK

Image
I'm an eclectic reader. I read everything from Horror to Young Adult, Erotic Romance to Children's Books. Give me a good book and I'll read it no matter what the genre. Amy Durham just released her new YA book DUSK . I've read her other books in the Sky Cove Series Once Again and Once And For All , both wonderful stories. So I had to get DUSK too, though it isn't one in the series. I love the cover. DUSK Zoe Gray lost her father... in more ways than one. Angry and bitter, Zoe spends the summer before her senior year of high school doing everything she can to forget, legal or not. But a close call triggers a reality check, and Zoe decides to put her life back together, a task that proves a lot harder than she thought. Adrian Shaw shows up on the first day of school, creating quite a stir with his striking good looks and gleaming black motorcycle. But Adrian is much more than a "biker boy", and as Zoe discovers, he may just hold the key she...

BREAKING AWAY IS RELEASED IN PAPERBACK AND AN EXCERPT

Image
EBOOK BREAKING AWAY                                PAPERBACK BREAKING AWAY I LOVE MY COVER!!! I'm crazy about it. It think my guy is so handsome,  intense, and sexy.  He's perfect for Flash. An excerpt: He nodded, the movement brief. “Several parts of your body can be used as a weapon.   Head, hands, elbows, knees, and feet. And several parts of your attacker’s body can be your target. Eyes, ears, mouth, nose, throat, stomach, groin, knees, ankles, and toes. The key is not to be afraid to go after them with everything you have.” Could she do that? Go after someone with no holds barred? Her non-aggressiveness might be what allowed Will to target her in the first place. Sam shifted her weight, and nodded. “I can learn to be aggressive. I’m not going to be a victim ever again.” ...

Mystery and Young Adult Writer, Jane Greenhill

Image
Jane Greenhill and I have been friends ever since we were on the Lethal Ladies Crit loop together many moons ago. And though she's in Canada and I'm in the US, we stay in touch. She writes in many genres. No matter what she's writing, be it a YA book about aliens or a Mystery about Murder, she lends a good sense of humor to them all. There are laugh out loud moments in every story. I thought I'd share her books with my readers.    Booty Call For Murder Victoria Hubert spends her days with the Dewey Decimal System and her nights living vicariously through romance novels. When Detective Angus McDonald enters her library, she recognizes him as the coverboy of her current novel. Angus has more skeletons in his closet than a public official. He’s on the hunt for Richard Markov, a convicted felon who slipped through the justice system. Now Richard is back in town with a new agenda, Victoria is his next victim and as her life plays out like a romance no...
